Viera Kulišovová was born on October 15, 1993 in Bratislava. She has been interested in art since childhood with the support of her mom, Alena, who also paints. Her works include both figurative and landscape motifs and often capture people and objects that are close to Viera. She likes fairy-tales and the fantasy world, often painting various fairy-tales heroes and self-invented little mutants. Her older works include portraits of children whose images are mixed with some of her own facial features. Later, she created strange figures with rabbit ears and other fantasy motifs. The LMH collection has Viera’s imaginary landscapes – with her typical confluent style, gentle volume modeling and a sense for tonal value. Her unified style and expression reveals a certain stylization.
