Tomáš Chaloupka was born on July 4, 1980 in Prešov. He started to paint and draw regularly at the age of 14. He creates paintings without sketching, gradually and in coordination with his imaginative process. Each painting has its own colors based on its theme. He uses a wide range of styles and ideas that change slightly according to his various themes and moods. Tomáš likes to experiment with the relationship between colors and/or creates a registry of structures based on the principle of games as an essence of his creativity. He utilizes a very individualized sense of rhythm and composition, as well possessing a unique sense of color and decorativeness. His art language is based on the repetitions of signs: curves, circles, spirals, etc., and their systematic combinations, multiplying, layering and overlays.
